The Brandhorst Collection contains work by some of the twentieth centuries most significant artists. Amongst pieces by Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol and Bruce Nauman, are a considerable selection of important Hirst sculptures including a 28 foot pill cabinet ‘In This Terrible Moment We Are All Victims of an Environment That Refuses to Acknowledge the Soul’ and a rare early vitrine work, ‘Looking Forward to a Complete Suppression of Pain’ (1994).
