Other Criteria's stores experienced lengthy queues as the signed print, featuring Hirst’s iconic diamond encrusted skull ‘For the Love of God’ finished with a Red Nose, went on sale and on display at Tate Modern over the weekend.

100% of the money raised will go directly to Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives across Africa and here in the UK. On joining forces with the charity, Damien stated: “This is the third time I have collaborated with Comic Relief for Red Nose Day, they do great things, and it is an epic and far reaching charity. Sometimes art is taken too seriously so it’s good to be able to laugh at myself; if you don’t laugh you will cry and it’s good to bring humour into fundraising. I hope this sparkly red nose will raise a smile and lots of money.”

This year’s Red Nose Day takes place on Friday 15th March, for more information visit rednoseday.com.
