Context

‘Psalm 46: Deus noster refugium.’ is part of a series of ‘Kaleidoscope’ paintings named after Old Testament Psalms. Referencing the spiritual element of the series, some of which are direct copies of stained glass windows, each ‘Psalm’ painting contains the psalm after which it is titled on the reverse of the canvas.
